Nydri Waterfalls: A Hidden Gem of Lefkada

    Lefkada is a beautiful island in the Ionian Sea, known for its stunning beaches, crystal-clear waters, and rich natural beauty. One of the island’s hidden treasures is the Nydri waterfalls, which are located just 4 kilometers from the popular tourist destination.

    The waterfalls consist of two main sections, the Ronies waterfall and the Dimossari Waterfall. The Ronies waterfall is the smaller of the two and flows into a beautiful turquoise lake. The Dimossari waterfall is the larger and more impressive, with a height of 12 meters.

    The walk to the waterfalls is easy and pleasant. The road is safe and well-marked. The walk starts from a small village called Vaukeria and ends at the point where the path leading to the waterfalls begins.

    The walk on the path is short, about 20 minutes, and does not require any special physical fitness. The path is well-groomed and is surrounded by lush vegetation.
